STOCKHOLMâ"Americans Robert J. Lefkowitz and Brian K. Kobilka won the 2012 Nobel Prize in chemistry Wednesday for studies of proteins that let body cells respond to signals from the outside.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said the two researchers had made groundbreaking discoveries on an important family of receptors, known as G-protein-coupled receptors.
About half of all medications act on these receptors, so learning about them will help scientists develop better drugs.
The Nobel week started Monday with the medicine prize going to stem-cell pioneers John Gurdon of Britain and Japan's Shinya Yamanaka. Frenchman Serge Haroche and American David Wineland won the physics prize Tuesday for work on quantum particles.
The Nobel Prizes were established in the will of 19th century Swedish industrialist Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite. Each award is worth 8 million kronor ($ 1.2 million). The awards are always handed out on Dec. 10, the anniversary of Nobel's death in 1896.

"I don't recall." I never heard anyone say anything about "faked war information". Do you have a reliable source? No? No surprise there.

Let us say that the democrats lie just as much as the GOP does

It takes a long time to put as convuluted a mess as this into coherent order. But then the 'democrats' never siad they would do anything of the kind. What was asked, and so far not forthcoming are all of the papers and intel so far hidden by the Bush administration. For instance....what went on in Cheney's secret meetings with the godfathers of the Oil Mafia just before the invasion of Iraq.....nobody knows and Cheney's isn't telling. It's hard to get over a 'stonewall' like that. But don't worry...someone eventually will rat out Bush and Cheney...it never fails...be patient..this may take awhile!

They were trying to weasel out of the authorization they gave in support of the war and after a while it goes away a little and they can spoon feed some other lie to the general public that they c an try to get away with.
Answer by Sergei
Uhhh, ok. You actually believe there was a valid reason for the war on (of) terror? You were fooled by Bush... i swear, i need to see his IQ score it must be like 85. And yes, i am very disappointed in the democrats lately. They didn't put up a fight in florida, they didn't put up a fight against the war...
