Denver police believe Fero's Bar & Grill was set fire to hid the slayings of the five people found inside who apparently were killed by other means.

(CBS/AP) DENVER - Denver police believe that a bar was set on fire to hide the slayings of four women and one man who found inside but who police do not think died in the blaze.

The fire at Fero's Bar & Grill was reported around closing time at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Police Chief Robert White said.

"The business has obviously been set on fire, an arson, I'm guessing, to mask the homicide that occurred inside," said police Commander Ronald Saunier.

"There is just trauma, enough information to believe that we have a homicide that occurred here. They didn't perish in the fire."

White wouldn't elaborate when asked about how the victims might have died, and he said so far it's not clear how much the bar was damaged, CBS Denver reports. So far none of the victims' names have been released, and there is no word on a suspect description.

The bar is located in a strip mall about five miles south of downtown Denver on one of the city's busiest streets, Colorado Boulevard. It serves bar food and a few Asian dishes. Other businesses in the strip mall include a check cashing store.

Question by Fact Slapping Cons: Why doesn't the "freedom of information" extend to intelligence concerning AREA 51--? Why do US forces have the legal authority to kill me if I enter those premises? edit: Freedom of information ACT. If you people want to deny the obvious, then tell me why they would kill me, and more importantly what would prompt them to kill any intruder Best answer for Why doesn't the "freedom of information" extend to intelligence concerning AREA 51--?:

Answer by Mike
Because the FOIA expressly exempts classified information from public access. If it didn't do that, there would be no classified information at all, and that would not be a good thing. You can find a list of information that is not subject to FOIA at subsection (b) of section 552 of Title 25 of the United States Code, linked below.

Hey, I can kill ya if you come in my house. Maybe it falls under the 'Castle Doctrine'.

Answer by Monkin
I don't think that US Forces would need to kill you should you enter AREA 51, they'd just let the Aliens living their handle the intruder, supper you know!

Answer by Avenger
There is no information to suppress. It's delusion and nonsense. .

Answer by What You Want to Hear
Good question. Also, I'd really like to know why they won't tell us what the nuclear launch codes are.

Answer by greenman
i'll save you the trouble, Area 51 is just an air force base where new and classified flight technologies are tested

Answer by Harry
It does, but Military installations are off limits to unauthorized personnel. You can find out anything you want to know, but then they erase your memory with one of their alien memory erasers.

Answer by gunwalker99
Because they don't want you to see all the UFO's that fail to lift off and don't make it past the end of the runway. Actually, UFO's are terrible flying machines. They are very unreliable, and they fail to achieve liftoff on the majority of takeoff attempts. The aliens forced Area 51 to hide the UFO flights from public view becuase aliens have a huge ego and they don't like to be embarrassed by a failed liftoff attempt.

Answer by Infernal Disaster
Area 51 is a classified military base and is not subject to FOIA.

Answer by John
Doesn't exist! Wonder if they even tell BHO, need to know?

Answer by Joey
The US military doesn't want the enemy knowing what they are working on. Corporation won't allow you coming onto their facilities either.

Answer by Riley
Because it would totally destroy, the United States multi billion dollar making religious, and military weapons industry's, if all of you in the United States knew. Have you ever wondered or thought, why none of us outside the USA are religious, nor concerned about all that 2012 or Illuminati rubbish.
