A Pennsylvania judge has blocked enforcement of the voter identification law which the legislature enacted and Republican Gov. Tom Corbett signed last year, meaning the law will not be in effect for the Nov. 6 election.

NBC's Pete Williams explains why the law won't go into full effect into next year.

Judge Robert Simpson said even with the streamlined procedures that state officials proposed to make it easier for voters without ID cards to obtain them, “the proposed changes are to occur about five weeks before the general election, and I question whether sufficient time now remains to attain the goal of liberal access” to ID cards.

He said, “I expected more photo IDs to have been issued by this time. For this reason, I accept Petitioners’ argument that in the remaining five weeks before the general election, the gap between the photo IDs issued and the estimated need will not be closed.”

Question by Ginny Johnson: I do not like the " new" Yahoo mail page. How do I go back to what I had? You say that the "new" Beta Mail is better. However, I do not care for it and want to change back to what I had originally. How do I do that? Best answer for I do not like the " new" Yahoo mail page. How do I go back to what I had?:

Within a few months, Yahoo wil only offer what is now called 'Beta Mail' and 'Classic Mail' - no more 'All-New'. Some people trying to go back to All-New have had difficulty with this. (It might be depending on which Yahoo server they are on, since the roll-out will be gradual.) You will have no other choices. In Beta mail: 1. Click on the 'Help' drop-down arrow in the upper left-hand side of the screen. 2. Scroll down, then click - 'Return to Original Mail'. 3. When you reach the Confirmation window, complete the form and click Continue. 4. Wait for the page to re-load. If you get All-New Mail: 1. Click 'Options' at the top right. 2. Click 'Mail Classic' to return to it. Or click 'Beta Mail' 3. Wait for the page to re-load. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/classic/basics/whatsnew-01.html (What's new) http://features.mail.yahoo.com/ (Beta Mail) (Take the tour for more info)
