Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Former General Electric Co. Chief Executive Officer Jack Welch accused the Obama administration on Twitter of manipulating today’s employment data for political advantage.

“Unbelievable jobs numbers..these Chicago guys will do anything..can’t debate so change numbers,” Welch, 76, wrote in a message posted immediately after the U.S. Labor Department reported that the economy added 114,000 jobs last month. That pushed the unemployment rate to 7.8 percent, the lowest since President Barack Obama took office in January 2009.

Welch’s Twitter message went viral on the social-media site, as political commentators and individual users weighed in to discuss his remarks. His secretary, Roseanne Badowski, said Welch is the only one with access to the account and is now unavailable for the rest of the day in meetings.

Welch’s Chicago reference alluded to the city where Obama got his start in electoral politics and where his re-election campaign is based. Many of Obama’s political opponents over the years have criticized him for association with so-called Chicago style politics and its reputation for corruption.

Jen Psaki, an Obama campaign spokeswoman, declined to comment, as did Gary Sheffer, vice president of communications and public affairs at GE, where Welch was CEO from 1981 until 2001.

Obama chose Jeffrey Immelt, Welch’s successor as CEO at GE, in January 2011 to lead a panel of CEOs and labor leaders charged with recommending ways to boost U.S. employment. The President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness last met a year ago and delivered its recommendations in January.

Question by Philosopher: Where can I get one of the new "permanent tatoos" that can easily be removed later if you want? I just read an article on yahoo news that talks about a new tatoo technology that actually embeds "beads" of ink under your skin (instead of actually putting ink IN your skin). It is supposed to stay permanently unless you want it removed; in which case they just run a laser (or something) over it and it pops the bubbles. Supposedly, they look exactly like the real thing....just removable. I would like to know if anyone knows of a place (tatoo parlor etc.) that is actually doing this yet. Best answer for Where can I get one of the new "permanent tatoos" that can easily be removed later if you want?:

check this article out...http://www.smithsonianmagazine.com/issues/2007/january/tattoo-remove.php

The inks are not currently available. The company, Freedom-2 LLC, will make the special ink available next year.

I guess the ink is supposed to come out next year but I gotta say that this new "permanent ink" thing is a bad idea. I say that if someone is gonna get a tattoo they should keep it forever....the old fashioned way, damn it. To anyone getting trendy tattoos, either deal with it or just don't get them at all. It's that simple.

Such a horrible bunch of crap. The likelihood that this is going to work the way they hope is extremely small. More than likely, it will always at least leave a mark and you will be left with something that looks worse than any tattoo ever could. And good luck finding a good artist that will touch the stuff. Who really wants to create a work of art that they know is going to get removed later? If you want a tattoo, it should be permanent. If you can't handle that, go to the dollar store and get yourself a package of fake ones.

Answer by Xalia
those are an urban legend... a tattoo is permanent, and there's no way around it... if you aren't willing to make a commitment for life, you shouldn't get tattooed.
