There aren't any contradicting ideas in Christianity. There are only conflicting opinions. Opinions of something God made can never rise to the importance of the original.

There are over 66 contradictions in the bible and Christians in their ignorance refuse to see them. They RATIONALIZE everything about the bible, making the pieces fit where they do not! Everything contradicts Christanity, it is anti-life, anti-nature, anti-intelligence, anti-spirit, and anti-God. Understanding the social history of the Bible, and what it meant for its authors. Understanding the stories of the Bible in the proper context and seeing human importance rather than divine. For example: The Bible's take on sexual morality is based on an aggressive population growth program. Morality doesn't have anything to do with it. See Deuteronomy 22: 28-29 and tell me how that is moral while it is certainly expedient in terms of population growth. The story of the fall of Adam and Eve is the story of the Agricultural Revolution. The rest of the OT continues as a diary of the civilization builders. None of it is about creation, but about the expansion of one culture. The end of Genesis 1 reads like a declaration of war against the environment and describes a way of living that is not sustainable. (That hasn't stopped us from trying for the past 10,000 years)

A law enforcement official says the FBI is investigating the possibility that the fatal shooting of a U.S. border patrol agent and the wounding of another was a case of friendly fire.
The official says the probe is looking into whether the two men exchanged gunfire Tuesday in the mistaken belief that each was being fired on by a hostile gunman. The shooting occurred near Bisbee, Ariz.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the matter is under investigation.
At FBI headquarters, spokesman Chris Allen declined to comment.
